With 45 years experience, INCERMED is the fist company on earth to use bio-ceramic in implantology. It is actually the world leader in bio-ceramics implantology (zirconium).
Its activities are primarily based on implantology research, and bio and immuno-compatible oral rehabilitation.
The research on the bio-compatibility of materials started in the 1960ies. Indeed, the first toxicological results proved the incompatibility of metallic implants with the human metabolism. Researchers then concentrated themselves in finding immuno and bio-compatible materials, whose properties were to be outstanding. The last scientific results lead to the use of different types of ceramics, of which Zirconium is the most remarkable. It showed the best biological reply, its harmlessness having been proven.

The latest generation of ceramic implants belong to the SIGMA category. They are all CE and ISO certified.
